36” x 36” Acrylic abstract painting on stretched canvas. Before I start any paintings I give back my gratitude to the universe and God. Behind each painting I do write beautiful intentions, prayers, and what ever else I am working with. Prior to this painting I was at a city market outside in town square and found this beautiful copper piece with the symbol OM on it. At the time I was unaware of this symbol. I knew it had meaning though because it was beautiful and made sense to purchase it. My intuition told me I needed to buy this. There was nothing else like it in this tent and made no sense why it was even there. Behind this painting I wrote the word Om and had drawn the symbol on it. I hung it by my canvas and chanted OM for a few minutes. In this painting I found myself drawn to putting in geometrical shapes. The middle square made me stop. I knew that I had to look up the meaning to the square. The square symbolizes being grounded. Om reminds us to breathe. I was now aware of this painting leading me to meditation on my spiritual path. Feel the vibrancy of Breathe, as you sit and gaze at the colorful geometrical shapes let it remind you of the true meaning of the simple elementary form that it conveys.
