When you first start going through a spiritual awakening it leads you to self doubt and questioning yourself. “Is this really happening to me?” I had cried a lot because I was confused on what was going on with me. I did not understand this and I felt that there was all this weird energy that was surrounding me. When the spiritual awakening happened it led me to a metaphysical store. I did not realize at the time I was walking into a metaphysical store. When I walked in it clicked and made sense. I became intrigued by crystals and the beauty they ignited. One morning I had woken up and my intuition told me that I needed a reddish crystal. I went to a local crystal place and purchased Carnelian not knowing what it stood for. I brought it home and placed it by this canvas before I started painting still not knowing what it stood for. In this painting you will see a hexagon. After I had painted this painting I looked up the Carnelian. Carnelian has a hexagonal crystal system and a hexagon represents the potential for life. Hexagonal properties are healing, communication and balancing energy. I realized that I was being protected from the hidden world as I was battling my emotions and energies.
